Bedroom 1
One level above the entertainment floor, the first bedroom has its own deck access and its own TV. A four-bedroom vacation home demands a comfortable number of bathrooms. With 5.5 in total – all beautifully finished, clean and classy – you and your guests will have ultimate convenience and peace of mind. The entertainment floor has its own bathroom and all bedroom floor bathrooms are stocked with essential products. The top floor bathroom also boasts a double vanity mirror – single mirrors in the others – and a hair dryer.

Aside from the various decks – the top floor deck being the jewel in the crown – this property’s outdoor highlight is the 23’x10’ pool. On days when the beach doesn’t demand your presence, fire up the BBQ grill, relax on the Adirondack chairs or pool loungers, and cool off in the pool. As night time arrives, you can soak in the warmth of the hot tub - large enough for six people.

Additional notesPlease be aware that access to Hatteras Island (location of Rodanthe) during storms may be affected. If you are traveling during Hurricane season (June 1-November 30) insurance is highly recommended. A link to several options to purchase travel insurance will be sent once booking is confirmed.
There are three cameras on the property, all located outside. They are for the protection of the property when not occupied and are not monitored.
Dogs are welcome and we cover the extra cleaning fee charged by cleaners for 2 dogs. If you are bringing more than 2 there is a $75/dog additional fee that will be assessed.

Neighborhood overviewRodanthe is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and is known for it world class fishing, kite surfing and beautiful beaches. It served as the backdrop of the Nicolas Sparks novel and film adaptation of "Nights in Rodanthe" along with stories of shipwrecks and rescues it serves as your gateway to the Graveyard of the Atlantic.
You’re a mere 220 steps from one of the most incredible coastlines on earth. Cast off from the Rodanthe Pier, which is not only beautiful and historically significant, but provides a first-rate fishing spot. Typical of many seaside communities, the area’s amenities are plentiful. A very doable 20-mile drive brings you to either the Bodie or Hatteras Lighthouses.

Getting aroundTravel is typically by car or truck, but paved paths lead up and down Highway 12 which can be biked or walked. A short walk to the west from the house leads to shops, a couple of restaurants, and a game/entertainment business.
